After Tom Carson went back to NY to write his Village Voice article on the Louisville scene, he asked for a tape of the Dickbrains to refresh his memory. The closest the Dickbrains got to a studio was to take a portable cassette player/recorder into the band room and run through our set. Stupidly we didn't make a copy of the tape. This is the set list for that "session". The upper right is prompts for "Cover Girl", lyrics I could never quite remember even though they were mine. "Jungle Noises" (a.k.a. "The Jungle Song") was the final Dickbrains song, a funky collaborative effort that hinted at a "new direction" for the group. Instead the band dissolved a few weeks later.
